Marlon Dance-Hooi

Marlon has a long involvement with plays, has experience in a few films, and has always love comedy. He has been in several highschool plays - Camelot, the king and I (which he also acted in when he was 5 alongside Hayley Mills) the lion the witch and the wardrobe, ubu roi and accidental death of an anarchist. He has acted in a few Adelaide university theater guild productions (spring awakening, merry wives of windsor, the wonder, the custom of the country) and has been an extra in a film
(Offside) and acted in a commercial for rocket reader.

Charlene
Paul Messenger

Paul first became interested in theatre and film midway through his secondary education at Mt. Gambier’s Grant High School, scoring excellent marks for performances in his graduating year (1999). He was also cast as as Mushnik in the same year’s production of Little Shop of Horrors.
In 2001 he joined the University of South Australia’s “Acting Up” drama society (in spite of not being a student) as the society’s secretary, as well as performing in a number of their short stage productions. He was also the assistant stage manager and an actor in their 2002 Fringe production, The Blue Couch, at the Hartley Playhouse.
In 2003 “Acting Up” was dissolved, but the society’s president went on to found the Charlie Fandango Production Company. Paul joined the company immediately and went on to act in several more short plays, as well as appearing in some short films made by students at UniSA. In 2004 he was the assistant director for the Charlie Fandango Fringe production Karaoke.
After a lengthy break from theatre, Paul worked with Arkham Entertainment as an assistant director and actor in their 2007 Fringe production 10 Minutes.
Paul’s most recent work has been as a principal actor in the independent feature film Justice Squad.
